Days Celebration

SOCH Nepal also celebrates key events such as Darwin’s day, 16 days campaign against GBV, Women’s day, and day against racial discrimination day, and Humanist Day to mark solidarity to global justice and Humanist movement.

COVID-19 portal and Hamro Swasthya mobile app (COVID-19)

SOCH Nepal has provided a remarkable ICT solution to fight COVID-19 to the health ministry of Nepal. SOCH Nepal provides web-based and mobile app based solutions for information dissemination among people. Both portals provided the real time information and awareness materials to more than  40 lakh people per day. The Hamro Swasthya App was awarded as the best application to help Nepali during COVID-19 pandemic by the information and technology minister of Nepal.

CIAA digitization program

SOCH Nepal has supported the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) to develop mobile applications with the purpose of making it easy to complain grievances. The application  has  features of Complaint registration, news/notice of CIAA and integrated data of CIAA. The digitization program will be further expanded in future.

Citizen Participation Audit (CPA) program

The Office of General Auditor (OAG) has implemented the CPA while conducting its regular Audit. SOCH Nepal has worked together with OAG to conduct citizen participation audits in different sub-national governments.
